timestranscript.com - P.E.I. plans MacDonald sculpture: "CHARLOTTETOWN - A new sculpture of Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada's first prime minister, will be gracing downtown Charlottetown by next summer.
Tourism Charlottetown, in partnership with several other organizations, has put out a request for proposals for artists to create a three-dimensional, life-size bronze sculpture of the famous politician.
Kim Green, the chief executive of Tourism Charlottetown, says Macdonald was chosen for the sculpture because 'he was central in forming Canada' and was a key player at the 1864 Charlottetown conference."

Fractals of Change: The Smart Grid Should Be Stupid
Fractals of Change: The Smart Grid Should Be Stupid: "So what's the lesson for the new electrical grid we want to build?
Make it stupid! Make it open! Enable innovation! And, again learning from the Internet, make it robust by making it distributed without a central command point or central points whose failure would bring down the whole network."

Railways in Film
Railways in Film: "Railway films generally fit into one of the three following categories:
• Films in which trains are an essential backdrop and play an important, even essential role;
• Films in which a railway station is an essential backdrop;
• Films in which the railway is used as a prop in perhaps only one scene, but as an essential element to the film."

Railways in Film: "This article does not discuss documentary-type films showing rail travel or railways in action, because I am more interested in how the railway can be used as a prop or background in a film, and how it can create impact in a single scene. My intent is to show how a number of directors have made trains and stations an essential part of their films and skilfully used the railway to develop a story line for memorable movies."

GPS And The Confederation Trail.

This is a key component in our CTT model. MODE new media has been proposing GPS and 3d reconstruction of landmarks on the Confederation Trail. This would include Old train stations, homesteads, bridges, and community sites of heritage, related to the railway.
- How do we get this project up and running?
- The Future Generation project has been over looked . Why?

Preserving The Prince Edward Island Railway

M.O.D.E. is developing smart search engines for the Future Generation Project.
If you scroll down this Blog you will see different kinds of search widgets and Keywords.
These are the MODE search engines.
Double click on any of the search engines on this site.
Each search engine is trained to find content based upon how it is programed.
The value of a MODE search engine is that they are focused on specific content related to Prince Edward Island Railway Stations .
Creating new content portals and hubs for a new CTT. (cultural tourism technology).
We have created a new tool for marketing and promoting Prince Edward Island.
